  Can't say enough good things about this place. In addition to beautiful artisan food - everything from local honey to imported oils and wines - they get fresh-made bread of all kinds in every Friday. Try their big round doughnut-shaped bread, or the ciabatta or the baguettes (small and large). They'll take a pre-order, but if you make sure to get there around 1-2 pm, there's always extra,
  The espresso and other coffees are wonderful. But STRONG. You can always ask for it to be lighter....) Ditto crackers and small cookies. I don't know where they get their pastas, but note that they require a few more minutes cooking, even to be al dente, than the directions say. They are fabulous.
  They also bring in fresh fruit (the strawberries were just coming in when we went last time, and they're the best I've ever had).
  As to cheese, seems like every day we passed there was a great cheese out for tasting. And an olive bar. Loads of pasta and sauces, local pickles, condiments, pretty much whatever you'd need for a fabulous meal. When we didn't feel like cooking, we just picked up some cheese and bread, oranges, and local honey. What a gret meal!
  Highly recommend this place as a local store that really delivers.
  Added attractions: Bowl of water outside for your pet, seating areas outside (and on chilly nights, even a separate seating area around a fire pit!), ice water with lemon inside for you. And very friendly service.
  OH. Great gifts too, made by the owner's husband. Wonderful little kitchen towels with cute sayings.
  Make sure to visit Emerson's, just to the left on the next block, for some affordable artwork, too. Also very very nice people.
  This whole stretch of stores seems to be a special place.
